Two men were arrested in Kakuma after police foiled their attempt to sell an illegal firearm, thanks to a timely tip-off and quick action by law enforcement.

Fredrick Lokwar, 27, and Calvin Etiir, 34, were caught in Lucy Village while allegedly trying to find a buyer for a Ceska blow mini pistol.

Officers, acting on intelligence, moved in and recovered the weapon along with a magazine loaded with three rounds.

The suspects are currently in police custody and will be charged in court as investigations continue.
