Tusker FC missed a golden opportunity to reclaim top spot in the FKF Premier League after being held to a 0-0 draw by AFC Leopards at the Machakos Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

In a match that promised much but delivered little in terms of goals, Tusker failed to break down a resolute Leopards defense despite dominating large portions of the game. The result sees Tusker remain second on the log with 52 points, level with current leaders Kenya Police FC, who have a game in hand against Kariobangi Sharks set for Sunday.

The draw marks another frustrating outing for the brewers, who have now drawn three of their last five matches, denting their ambitions of reclaiming the league title.

Earlier at the same venue, Bidco United and Bandari FC also played out a goalless draw. Bidco, fighting to avoid the drop, remain precariously above the relegation zone in 16th place with 28 points.

Bandari, meanwhile, sit comfortably mid-table in 8th position with 40 points from 29 matches. With just a few matches left before the season ends, the race for the title and the battle to avoid relegation continue to intensify.
