Commuters going to Ongata Rongai have a new option after Super Metro Sacco announced the launch of a new route to the area.

This was announced on Monday by the Sacco through their social media pages, where they announced that the service had started, but they did not give information on the exact stage of the route.

“New route alert! Today. Rongai, here we are. Thank you for your continued support,” the Sacco announced.

This expansion of Super Metro Sacco adds Rongai to the long list of routes that the Sacco operates. The Sacco currently operates over 500 buses and operates on numerous routes, including the popular routes of Thika, Kikuyu, Kitengela, Ngong, Westlands, and Roysambu.

This is not the first time that Super Metro Sacco is expanding, as this is the second time in less than a year that the Sacco is launching new routes. In May last year, Super Metro launched new routes that connect Kencom to places such as Upper Hill, KNH, and Kabiria.

Super Metro buses are popular among most commuters going to and from town as they are known for order and discipline, unlike most of the other PSVs.

This new route to Rongai may prove popular, especially considering that the area has for a long time been dominated by matatus that are popular for their loud music and flashy designs.

Now, it remains to be seen how commuters in Rongai will respond to this new service and whether Super Metro Sacco will manage to capture a significant number of commuters on this popular route.
