Star striker Eric Kapaito has returned to Tusker FC from Tanzania’s Namungo FC ahead of the Football Kenya Federation Premier League season.
The two-time FKFPL Golden Boot winner brings not only experience but also a lethal scoring instinct that made him a fan favourite before his departure last season.
Kapaito left Tusker at the end of the 2023-24 season, having scored 12 goals to help the team perform well in the domestic campaign.
His return signals a major boost for the club’s attacking force as they look to reclaim domestic dominance and make a stronger impact on the continental stage.
Speaking during the unveiling at Ruaraka Grounds, Kapaito termed the Brewers as his home.

“I feel that I have returned to a place where I felt comfortable, happy and loved. I have a deep connection with this club and the fans, and I’m hungry to help bring more trophies to this great team. I’m back, focused, and ready to give my all,” Kapaito said.
Head coach Charles Okere hailed Kapaito’s return as a key piece of the puzzle.
He becomes the club’s third signing after midfielder Vincent Otieno and utility defender Eugene Ikutwa, who have since joined the Ruaraka-based side from Nairobi City Stars and Bidco United, respectively.
