Comedian Kelvin Mwangi alias Shaniqwa says his ex partner Naomi Jemutai has never checked up on her son after exiting from their union five years ago.
The duo had a nasty breakup in 2021 when Shaniqwa claimed that his ex-wife left him for another man after he was fired at KTN.
Shaniqwa claims that his ex partner has never reconnected with their son despite reconciling and communicating occasionally. Mwangi revealed,
“Thank God the boy is now living a very good life after a difficult start. I have been taking care of him all by myself since his mother abandoned him. I am no longer bitter towards his mother. I forgave her, because if I don’t, who will forgive me my sins?”
Shaniqwa remains disturbed since his ex wife never bothers to check up on son despite mending fences with her. He added,
“I’ll tell you the truth, it’s been a long time since she last saw our son. The last time we talked about her coming to see him was on his second birthday. She kept saying she would come, but she never did. It’s been five years since she last saw him,”
Revisiting their ugly fallout, Shaniqwa says trouble in paradise began when he lost his job at KTN and the financial burden of providing for their family fell on Jemutai, who at the time had an income stream having landed a job through the comedian’s assistance.
Before his ex wife walked out on him, Shaniqwa noticed some red flags in their union but continued ignoring them. He narrated that,
“ She started getting phone calls in the middle of the night. I would be in the middle of my sleep and wake up to find her chatting or talking to someone, but I kept ignoring them.”
