Scotland centre Huw Jones will leave Glasgow Warriors at the end of the current season to join French Top 14 side Toulon.

The 32-year-old British and Irish Lion, who returned to Glasgow for a second spell from Harlequins in 2022, has agreed a two-year contract with the French club.

At Toulon, Jones will link up with Scotland team-mate Ben White, the scrum-half having signed a new two-year deal with the club last November.

Leith-born Jones, who has won 58 Scotland caps, began his professional career in South Africa with the University of Cape Town before progressing to Western Province and the Stormers.

He first joined Glasgow in 2017 and has since made 82 appearances across two spells with the Warriors.

Jones departs a Glasgow side currently sitting second in the United Rugby Championship, behind the Stormers, to join a Toulon team occupying second place in the Top 14, trailing Toulouse only on points difference.

He recently returned from injury in style, scoring a try in Saturday’s 33–21 away victory over Clermont-Auvergne in the Champions Cup.

Among his standout moments for Glasgow was scoring the third and ultimately match-winning try in the URC Grand Final victory over the Vodacom Bulls in June 2024, one of 28 tries he has scored for the club.

Selected for the 2025 British and Irish Lions tour of Australia, Jones featured in all three Tests and scored a try in the decisive second-Test win.

Toulon noted that his outstanding form also earned him a place in the World Rugby Dream Team of the Year 2025.
