President William Ruto has led members of the Joint Broad-Based Alliance Parliamentary Group and governors in a retreat in Naivasha, Nakuru County, as the government reviews its development progress and charts a new national vision.
Ruto said the retreat provides an opportunity for leaders to take stock of the progress made so far while exchanging ideas on how to accelerate development across the country.
“At the Joint Broad-Based Alliance Parliamentary Group and Governors Retreat in Naivasha, Nakuru County,” Ruto said.
The President said discussions at the retreat are also focused on shaping a new national vision that will guide Kenya’s development beyond the current Vision 2030 framework.
The meeting brings together political and government leaders from across the broad-based administration, providing a platform to assess ongoing programmes, identify challenges and strengthen coordination in the implementation of government priorities.
Ruto said the leaders are using the retreat to exchange ideas on measures that can accelerate development and support the country’s long-term economic transformation.
