Ruto: Divisive Leaders Will Have No Place in My Government

President William Ruto has reiterated that his administration will not tolerate politicians who promote ethnic division and disunity.

Speaking at a roadside rally in Kisumu, where he was warmly received, Ruto made it clear that his government will take decisive action against those who attempt to sow discord among Kenyans.

“I promised to unite Kenya and make it one nation. Those who spread hate, ethnicity, and division will be shown the door,” Ruto declared.

Highlighting his commitment to a more inclusive government, the president underscored that the recent cabinet reforms are aimed at streamlining government operations to better serve the citizens.

Among those present at the rally were National Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi, Governors Anyang’ Nyong’o (Kisumu), Ken Lusaka (Bungoma), James Orengo (Siaya), and Gladys Wanga (Homa Bay).

Also in attendance were Afreximbank President and Board Chair Benedict Oramah, and United Cities and Local Governments of Africa Secretary-General Jean Pierre Elong Mbassi.

Kisumu Governor Anyang’ Nyong’o was among the regional leaders welcoming Ruto.
