President William Ruto on Sunday extended heartfelt congratulations to President Paul Kagame of Rwanda on being sworn in for another term in office.
During the inauguration ceremony held at Amahoro Stadium in Kigali, Rwanda, President Ruto lauded the remarkable progress that Rwanda has made under President Kagame’s leadership.
In his congratulatory message, President Ruto praised Rwanda’s transformation over the past 30 years, particularly in the aftermath of the 1994 genocide.

“Congratulations to my brother President Paul Kagame for being sworn in for another term to continue transforming your country Rwanda. In the past 30 years, the people of Rwanda have risen from the devastating ashes of the 1994 genocide and undergone tremendous progress in political, democratic and economic spheres,” said President Ruto.
He also underscored Rwanda’s vital role as a member of the East African Community (EAC), the African Union (AU), and the broader international community.
“Rwanda is a valuable member of the East African Community, the African Union, and the international community,” Ruto noted, emphasizing the country’s contributions to regional and global initiatives.
