Vibrant Kenyan model and influencer Rue Baby has clapped back at body shamers in a bold Instagram story that has gone viral.
The daughter of celebrated singer Akothee shared a message addressing people who criticise her slim figure, and she didn’t hold back.
“Let me say something and sorry to my plus-sized friends in advance.Don’t come body shaming me if you can’t back it up with your body, telling me to eat while you’ve finished all the potatoes for me in the market. An eye for an eye, please goodnight.”
Rue added, “I’m all about body positivity but don’t test me,” making it clear she’s not afraid to defend herself against trolls who mock her body type.
The fiery statement has been receiving mixed reactions online, with some fans cheering her confidence and humor, while others say she might have crossed the line with her comeback.
Still, many social media users praised Rue for discussing the ongoing problem of body shaming that both slim and plus-sized women face.
One fan commented, “People always think that body positivity is only for curvy women. Rue is right to speak up.”
Rue Baby, a model and digital creator who has often underscored the importance of confidence, self-love, and acceptance, took to her latest post to remind people that all individuals, regardless of their body size, deserve respect.
