Round of 32 Fixtures Set as FKF Women’s Cup 2025 Kicks Off

The FKF Women’s Cup returns this weekend with the Round of 32 fixtures marking the official start of the 2025 edition of the national knockout tournament.

A total of 16 matches will be played across the country, as clubs set out on the road to silverware in what is now the fourth edition of the competition.

Defending champions Ulinzi Starlets will be in action early on Sunday, taking on TUK Ravens at Dandora Stadium in the first of two fixtures scheduled at the venue.

Ulinzi, the only team to have ever won the title, are eager to launch their title defense with a statement performance.

They’ll also be keeping a close eye on Kenya Police Bullets, their main rivals in the FKF Women Premier League.

The two sides are neck-and-neck in the league standings, with Kenya Police Bullets currently holding a slender three-point lead with just two matchdays remaining.

Saturday’s action will be headlined by a double-header at Thika Stadium. Gaspo Women face Kibera Soccer Women at 1:00 pm, followed by a high-stakes clash between Thika Starlets and Kenya Police Bullets at 3:15 pm.

Both fixtures feature top-tier teams and are expected to set the competitive tone for the rest of the tournament.

On Sunday, attention shifts to Nairobi’s Dandora Stadium for another double bill. Ulinzi Starlets will square off against TUK Ravens at 1:00 pm, before Makolanders take on Kayole Starlet at 3:15 pm in a classic Nairobi derby.
