Principal Secretary for Medical Services Dr. Ouma Oluga today chaired a high-level meeting with World Bank Senior Health Specialist Dr. Bernard Olayo and leaders from implementing agencies to evaluate progress on major World Bank-supported health projects.

The strategic review focused on the COVID-19 Health Emergency Response Project (CHERP), the Health Emergency Preparedness and Resilience Programme, and the Reproductive, Maternal and Child Health initiative backed by the Global Financing Facility.

The team assessed implementation milestones and outlined next steps to strengthen impact and accountability in Kenya’s health sector transformation.
