Public Service and Human Capital Development Principal Secretary, Dr. Jane Imbunya, has commended the quality of service delivery at the Nairobi City Square and Kibra Huduma Centres following an unannounced inspection.
During her impromptu visit, Dr. Imbunya expressed satisfaction with the efficiency and professionalism exhibited by staff at the two centres.
She highlighted the centres’ commitment to swift service provision and high standards of customer care, which she said were greatly benefiting the public.”The level of service I witnessed today is commendable. Citizens are being served efficiently and with courtesy, which is exactly what we strive for in public service,” said Dr. Imbunya.
The PS also praised the E-Citizen platform, noting that it has digitized 85 percent of government services. She emphasized that the digital shift has not only made services more accessible but also helped promote transparency and reduce opportunities for corruption.
Dr. Imbunya reaffirmed the government’s commitment to enhancing service delivery and urged public servants to maintain high performance standards as the country continues to embrace digital governance.
