President William Ruto has reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive national development.

President Ruto has assured that no region will be left behind in Kenya’s transformation agenda.

The Head of State was speaking during a consultative meeting with Kamba delegates from Ukambani region comprising Machakos, Makueni and Kitui counties at State House, Nairobi.

The President called for a shared focus on progress, urging leaders to rise above divisive politics that threaten national cohesion.

“We must not condone tribalistic, hateful and purposeless political engagements that derail the unity and prosperity of our nation,” said President Ruto

The meeting comes ahead of President Ruto’s much anticipated development tour of Ukambani Region.

During the tour, the President is set to commission the Emali–Ukia Road and inspect progress on the Kibwezi–Kitui–Bondoni Road, specifically the Kwa Siku to Bondo section.

“I am confident that the decisions we are making will provide a great foundation for a prosperous nation,” echoed President Ruto.

The meeting brought together a cross-section of Kamba delegates including Members of Parliament, Senators, Members of the County Assembly (MCAs), religions leaders and other stakeholders.
