President William Ruto has called on newly promoted Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) officers to discharge their duties with integrity, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of the nation.
The head of state was speaking in state house Nairobi on Saturday, during the official state investiture ceremony for the installation of service commanders and presentation of ranks.
President Ruto congratulated the officers in the military for their commitment to safeguarding security in the wake of rapidly evolving threats in the country.
He urged them to remain steadfast in their service to protect Kenya.A day after the communication on new KDF appointments and promotions was made public, the promoted officers gathered at the State House for the formal ceremony.
This even as he reminded them of the great weight they bear and the hope that the Kenyan people have bestowed on them as far as the territorial integrity of the country is concerned
The Head of State took the opportunity to recognize their individual and collective achievements while also reminding them of the heavy responsibilities that come with their new ranks.”We implore the new leadership to discharge its responsibilities with professionalism and integrity to consolidate Kenya into a progressive country. You have our unreserved support.” he stated
He urged the new military leadership to lead with professionalism, integrity, and dedication in order to strengthen Kenya’s security and promote national development.“You have our unreserved support. Congratulations on your promotion. Our best wishes as you serve our country.” he added
