This morning, police in Nairobi’s Kilimani area killed two suspected robbers and recovered a handgun, machete, mobile phones, and a motorcycle.
According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, officers on patrol along Tigoni Road near the Naivas store encountered the three-member gang in the act of committing a robbery.
During the ensuing shootout, two of the suspects were killed, while the third managed to flee, suffering gunshot wounds. T
he victims, who had just been robbed, were able to identify the suspects based on the recovered items.

A manhunt is currently underway for the escaped robber.
