Immediate former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s wife, Pastor Dorcus Rigathi, is celebrating her birthday today.
However, it is definitely not her best day due to the tribulations facing her family.
To begin with, hours ago, her husband Gachagua lost his deputy president position after the Senate overwhelmingly voted to uphold his impeachment by the National Assembly.
The deputy president position has since been taken over by Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki, whose nomination was approved by Members of Parliament and is waiting to be sworn in.
Also, Pastor Dorcus is not a happy wife today as her husband is reportedly admitted to The Karen Hospital after suffering from intense chest pains.
Gachagua suddenly fell sick on the afternoon of Thursday, October 17. At that time, he was being waited in the Senate to defend himself against the 11 charges in his impeachment motion.
Last year, Gachagua penned a lovely message to celebrate Pastor Dorcus’s birthday describing her as his pillar of strength.
