President William Ruto is reportedly planning to make changes in the leadership of National Assembly committees.
In the changes, Ruto will replace disloyal House committee chairpersons and vice chairpersons with his trustworthy allies.
The first person who will be shown the door is Kiharu Member of Parliament (MP) Ndindi Nyoro who chairs the powerful Budgets and Appropriations Committee.
This publication has learned that Nyoro will be replaced by Molo MP Kimani Kuria, who chairs the Finance and Planning Committee.
Notably, Nyoro has been blowing hot and cold in his allegiance to President Ruto.
He never took any side during the impeachment of then deputy president Rigathi Gachagua.
Also, he was not in the National Assembly when MPs voted to approve Kithure Kindiki’s nomination as deputy president.
