Comedienne Nasra Yusuf has shared about her selfless plan to support 5 fans with 100k each to boost their business. However she shared about her insecurities of investing half a million on business ideas only for her to lose her hard-earned money. She reached out to her fans on social media to help her with ideas on how to hatch out her plan. She wrote, ” For a start, I’d like to take 5 ideas.100k each.But how do I trust anyone in Nairobi? Help me come up with a plan on how to make sure I don’t lose my money.”
She wrote that despite having good business ideas, most Kenyans lack capital to start and run their businesses. She promised that she would make it an ongoing project if the first batch of 5 fans succeed in starting and running successful businesses with the money she offers. “If we succeed, we keep on doing it regularly. I believe that most Kenyans are talented and only lack capital.”
Nasra agreed that content creators and celebrities have a role to play in supporting fellow Kenyans and fans who support them. She challenged them to come forward and help their fellow Kenyans even as they wait for politicians and the government to stretch a helping hand. She posted
While we wait for politicians and the government to act right, people like me that have been built by Kenyans have to step in and create employment for our youths.
