Afraha Volleyball Club, widely regarded as a symbol of volleyball excellence in Nakuru, demonstrated exceptional skill at the recently concluded Kipchumba Karori International Tournament in Eldoret, which saw over 170 teams from across the country compete.
The club’s commitment to developing top-tier talent has produced notable players such as Mike (Forest Rangers), Ayuen (KPA), and Njiris (Chema Steel), all of whom are now excelling in national leagues.
Afraha finished in third place, securing a dominant 3-1 victory over Nyeri United in the play-offs.
Under the leadership of Team Manager Francis Kimani, the club is now focused on future goals, including the establishment of a Division One or Division Two team to represent Nakuru.
With its unwavering dedication to talent development, Afraha Volleyball Club is set to elevate Nakuru’s profile on the national volleyball stage and inspire the next generation of players.
