Moi Air Base Primary School was filled with energy and ambition on 8 May 2025 as it held its inaugural Career Day, bringing together students, teachers, parents, and professionals in a celebration of future possibilities.

With the theme “Igniting Young Minds for a Brighter Future,” the event featured interactive sessions and demonstrations from a diverse range of professionals, including doctors, pilots, engineers, lawyers, and military personnel. Students, dressed in costumes representing their dream careers, eagerly engaged with the guests, asking questions and learning about the paths to success.

The school’s head teacher, Mrs. Pauline Njuguna, emphasized the importance of the event in expanding the students’ horizons. “Career Day is about showing our children the world of possibilities education offers and encouraging them to dream big,” she said.

Parents, many of whom served as guest presenters, shared their professional journeys, helping students connect classroom learning to real-world careers. The day wrapped up with lively performances by the students, highlighting the importance of hard work and perseverance.

Kamukunji Education Officer Mrs. Phanice Chesari also spoke, urging all stakeholders to help nurture each child’s potential. The event left a lasting impact, inspiring students to pursue their aspirations with determination and confidence.
