The NARC Kenya party, headed by lawyer Martha Karua, has announced strategic rebranding ahead of the 2027 General Election.
As part of the changes, the outfit has adopted a new color scheme of purple and white, departing from the traditional green and red.
However, the party’s symbol, a rose flower and its slogan, ‘one Kenya, one nation, one people’ will be retained to preserve the party’s identity.
The changes were announced during the ongoing National Delegates Conference (NDC) in Nairobi.
Also, during the meeting, the party resolved to amend its constitution to introduce term limits for its officials, including the party leader.
It was proposed that the party leader serve a maximum of two terms of a specific duration each, stepping down upon completing their tenure.
In preparation for the 2027 polls, the party announced plans to launch a massive national membership recruitment drive which will strengthen its grassroots presence and expand its political influence.
Also, the NDC is deliberating on the party’s exit from the Azimio coalition.
