Popular Kenyan music producer Magix Enga has reached out to his fans for financial assistance as he looks to take a bold step in his career—setting up his very own recording studio.

“Nahitaji kukua na studio yangu, nimekua nikiwork na studio zingine, ile ya kulipa studio time… Nikona equipment kiasi.”
(“I need to have my own studio; I’ve been working in other people’s studios, paying for studio time… I have some equipment already.”)
The celebrated beatmaker, who has produced chart-topping hits for numerous artists in Kenya and beyond, says owning his own studio will allow him more creative freedom and consistency in his work.
