Trent Alexander-Arnold has confirmed he will leave Liverpool at the end of the season, with a move to Real Madrid widely expected.
Although no official agreement has been signed, sources indicate that the England international is set to join the Spanish giants on a free transfer.
A product of Liverpool’s academy, Alexander-Arnold has made 352 appearances for the club, playing a key role in one of the most successful periods in its recent history.
He has won two Premier League titles — including this season’s — along with the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, two Carabao Cups, the FA Cup, and the Community Shield.
The 26-year-old began the season as one of three senior players out of contract this summer.
While Liverpool managed to secure two-year extensions for Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk, they will lose Alexander-Arnold without a transfer fee.
