Bayen Munich’s £58.6 million offer for Liverpool’s attacker Luis Diaz has stalled.
Earlier this month Liverpool told the German club they Diaz was not for sale, a stance they reiterated on Tuesday.
Liverpool has turned down the Bundesliga side’s first bid for the Colombia international whose contract expires in the summer of 2027, in excess of £87m as a key member of Arne Slot’s squad.
The 28-year-old Diaz scored 22 goals for club and country last season as he emerged as an integral member of Arne Slot’s title-winning side.

Diaz attracted interest from Manchester City last summer, and also has admirers in Saudi Arabia.
At the same time Liverpool is eyeing Newcastle’s striker Alexander Isak.
