Former Machakos County First Lady, Lillian Ng’ang’a, has come out strongly to dismiss rumours suggesting she is longing for her ex-partner, former Governor Alfred Mutua.

The claims began circulating on social media after a blog published a quote, falsely attributed to Ng’ang’a, stating that she missed Mutua. Taking to her verified X (formerly Twitter) page, the mother of one retweeted the post — not to validate it, but to fiercely denounce the misleading report.

Clearly irritated by the fabricated statement, Ng’ang’a blasted the blog for its irresponsible journalism, calling out the writers for spreading lies without a shred of shame.

“You are the lot that needs your head checked,” she wrote, “because why are you spending your Sunday publishing nonsense? And if I were to miss Alfred, I definitely would not choose your channel to convey the message.”

Ng’ang’a made it unequivocally clear that she has moved on from that chapter of her life and has no desire to revisit it. Her message to the blog — and to gossip-driven media — was a firm warning against using her name for cheap traffic.

Just weeks ago, Ng’ang’a confirmed that her relationship with artist Juliani had come to an end. At the time, she shut down critics who questioned her love life, explaining that she has only been romantically involved with two men since turning 25 — a sign, she said, of self-respect and deliberate choice.

In a recent interview with Dr. Ofweneke, she further opened up about her view on relationships, stating that she believes in letting go when things stop working, rather than clinging to broken bonds.
