KMTC September Intake 2025

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service has opened a fresh chance for students to apply for medical courses at the Kenya Medical Training College ( KMTC).

In an announcement made on Tuesday, April 21, KUCCPS said the new intake targets students who scored grades C and D in the 2025 KCSE exams.

Application to the course will be done within a period of two weeks, which gives a second chance to those who failed to get a slot in the initial intake.

According to KUCCPS, candidates for these programs will have immediate intake into KMTC, hence need to apply immediately.

“Are you interested in medical courses? Here’s your opportunity,” KUCCPS noted, saying that various KMTC branches nationwide would be offering these programs.

Some of the programs that candidates could apply for under this program include Community Health, Nutrition, Medical Engineering, and Health Records among others.

Others include Clinical Medicine, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Radiography and Mortuary Science.

KUCCPS has stated that this particular intake would be tailored to train students with better practical knowledge so that they get jobs immediately upon graduation.

Interested applicants should log into the KUCCPS student portal using the following credentials: KCSE index number, year of examination, and password. The password is either the KCPE index number or the birth certificate number.

The date when the applications will close has been fixed as May 6, 2026.

It has been advised by KUCCPS that there is tough competition for the limited seats available, and hence, delay in applying is discouraged.

This new batch of students was announced right after KUCCPS launched its portal for application for university courses along with TVET courses.
