Kenyan actress and media personality Koku Lwanga has shaken social media with a heartbreaking revelation, accusing her husband, actor and content creator Daddie Marto (Martin Githinji), of domestic abuse and infidelity.

In a now-viral Instagram Story, Koku posted a photo from their traditional wedding alongside a powerful and emotionally raw message. She detailed a painful experience, claiming Marto physically assaulted her—throwing blows and kicks to her head, neck, and back—after she confronted him about allegedly bringing another woman into their lives.

“You bringing another woman in my presence to ‘the so-called office’… I did not deserve you throwing blows and kicks to my head, neck and back while I lay on the ground in fetal position simply because I came to confront you and your hoe.”

Her post goes beyond the physical violence. Koku shared how emotionally distant Marto had become, saying he had long “checked out” of the marriage and had hidden behind excuses of being busy.

“The drama I caused tonight, that wasn’t anger or rage, that was pain. Pain from the realization I have been sleeping with the enemy. The enemy of my heart. Enemy of my Spirit.”

Koku didn’t spare the unnamed woman involved either. She accused her of knowingly having an affair with a married man and being complicit in the deception. She described the humiliation of screaming outside while the woman was allegedly locked inside the house to avoid confrontation.

She also expressed deep concern for the woman’s safety, hoping Marto would not repeat the same abusive patterns.

“I hope you don’t hit her. And for the love of God stop hiding her… Tell her to own her shit. To f** a married man with her chest.”*

Koku ended the post with a haunting admission—suggesting she had kept her pain private for too long:

“You owe me. Quite a lot actually. But for now I’ll let out a little bit of my pain. I keep it to myself a lot and maybe that has led you to believe I enjoy torture.”
