While on the red carpet, accompanied by First Lady Mama Rachel Ruto and several leaders, the all-smiling President Ruto happily swayed to the beats as the song played in the background.
As seen in a video, the president was captured swaying from side to side, doing slomo skips and clapping momentarily as he enjoyed the now viral song sung by the Orchestra Super Mazembe band.
The president grooving to the song might be a surprise, as his critics have christened him Kasongo and widely use the moniker while discrediting his leadership on social media.
Ruto happily dancing to the song and confirms that, indeed, he has no issues with people branding him Kasongo and takes criticism positively.
