Kipipiri MP Wanjiku Muhia has voiced strong support for Public Service Cabinet Secretary Hon. Justin Muturi, following recent calls by some young MPs to impeach him.
In a fiery social media post, Muhia dismissed the impeachment threats as baseless and defended Muturi as a “respectable man” in Kenya, who is courageously speaking out on issues that many others fear to address.
“I have heard some young MPs shout that they will impeach Hon. Justin Biden Muturi, a respectable man in this country who is expressing what many men cannot express,” Muhia wrote. “The advice given to Hon. Muturi that he should make complaints at cabinet meetings is laughable. If phone calls from a sitting Attorney General cannot be picked, what about the common mwananchi?” she stated.

Muhia further questioned the motives behind the impeachment calls, urging those MPs to take direct action if they truly wanted to pursue the matter.
“What is so scary about impeachment? Instead of shouting, call for a special sitting and do it! Has H.E. Rigathi Gachagua, EGH died since you impeached him?” she added, referencing a past political event.
The MP expressed concern over the type of advice being given to the president by such MPs, saying, “If such MPs are the ones who advise the president, I pity Kenya, my motherland.”

In her post, Muhia also called for Muturi to continue speaking out against the abduction of youths, adding that Kenyans now know the identities of those responsible.
“Hon. Muturi, stand firm and speak out about all the evils done on abduction of our youths. Now we know the abductors! The Hague is moving closer day by day,” she stated.

Muhia concluded her post by addressing the recent interference with her social media comments, suggesting that the “IT goons” who had previously disrupted her posts were likely to target her again.
“After reading this post, send your IT goons to interfere with my comment section as you have done the last few days. Thank you very important,” she wrote.
