Deputy President Kithure Kindiki is set to return to Kiambu County for a series of project inspections and public engagement activities in Lari and Thika Town constituencies.
The Deputy President’s visit will focus on ongoing and completed government projects, including markets, roads and other development initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure and economic opportunities for residents.
In Lari Constituency, Kindiki is scheduled to inspect construction works at the Nyambari ESP Market, a project expected to provide traders with improved facilities for conducting business.
He will also inspect works along the Uplands-Githunguri Road, before engaging residents during a public meeting at Nyambari Market.
The Lari programme will provide an opportunity for residents and local leaders to raise issues concerning development projects and government services in the constituency.
Kindiki will then proceed to Thika Town Constituency, where he is scheduled to inspect and commission the Gatuanyaga Market.
The Deputy President will also launch the tarmacking of the Kwaheri-Mary Magdalena Road, marking the start of works on the road project expected to improve transport and connectivity within the area.
The visit will conclude with a public engagement event in Thika Town, where Kindiki is expected to interact with residents and highlight ongoing government development programmes.
The tour comes as the government continues to roll out infrastructure and economic projects across Kiambu County, with markets and road networks forming part of efforts to improve local trade, transport and access to public facilities.
