In his maiden speech after being sworn in as Deputy President, Kithure Kindiki heaped praise on his wife Joyce Kithure.
Kindiki thanked Joyce for sacrificing her profession, in her own right, to raise their three children, Imani, Neema, and Mwende in his absence.
Abra K, as he has been nicknamed by President William Ruto, further thanked his wife for supporting him as he navigates the difficult space of public service.
"Allow me to thank my wonderful wife, Joyce Kithure. A woman who has sacrificed her profession, in her own right, to raise our three children, Imani, Neema, and Mwende in many days and nights in my absence as I served the country in different roles.I am very grateful to my wife and the children for being the foundation and providing the support that I have always required as I navigate this difficult space of public service," said Kindiki.Joyce is a senior lecturer at the University of Nairobi’s Department of Chemistry.
She has a PhD in Environmental Chemistry.
