The Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital (KUTRRH) has announced the search for a new Chief Executive Officer.
In a public notice, the hospital said applications are open until June 24, 2025. The CEO position, classified under Job Grade KUTRRH 1, will be a three-year renewable contract, subject to performance.
Candidates must have at least 15 years of experience, including five at a senior management level in a large organization. A postgraduate degree in a health-related field, hospital management, or business administration is also required.
KUTRRH emphasized that applicants must demonstrate strong leadership, integrity, and familiarity with public sector operations.

The hospital is currently led by Dr. Zeinab Gura in an acting capacity. She took over after the exit of former acting CEO Isaac Irungu Kamau, who had assumed the role in November 2024 following the departure of Ahmed Dagane.
