Kenyan YouTuber and content creator Miss Trudy has emotionally shared her journey to motherhood, revealing the heartbreak of several miscarriages before welcoming her new baby as she took the baby to meet her father.
Miss Trudy reflected the pain of losing a child, the resilience it demanded and the joy of finally holding her child in her arms.
She recalls one of the most difficult moments when she made a phone call to her father that she had lost another pregnancy.
“The last time I told him I had a miscarriage, I could hear his voice breaking on the other side of the phone as he said, “Let me call you back,” she said, sensing how her father was discouraged by the news.
“He later broke my heart when he told me that he went in front of the church and asked God to forgive him if he had committed any sin that made his only daughter go through so many miscarriages,” she wrote.
Miss Trudy said the plan to travel to Kenya with her child as a dream come true for her family. Noting she holds an emotional significance years of pain, disappointment and unanswered prayers while trying to be a mother.
