Information, Communications and the Digital Economy Cabinet Secretary William Kabogo, on the sidelines of the ongoing DCO Annual General Assembly in Kuwait, held talks with AfriLabs executive director Anna Ekeledo.
Their engagement centred on exploring areas of collaboration between Kenya and AfriLabs in line with President William Ruto’s government’s digital transformation agenda.
Key focus areas included expanding AfriLabs’ footprint in Kenya, linking Kenyan digital innovation hubs to AfriLabs’ pan-African programmes and enhancing project balance across the continent for inclusive growth.
Kabogo and Ekeledo deliberated on how these areas of collaboration will impact Kenyan youths, women, among other special groups, especially those running small startups.
They further discussed AfriLabs’ commitments in Kenya during the upcoming Connected Africa Summit.
