Kenya Airways Records Full Flights as Passenger Numbers Rise

Kenya Airways has seen a sharp rise in the number of its passengers in recent weeks. Currently, the airline has almost full flights.

Speaking to the press on Monday, the acting CEO of Kenya Airways, George Kamal, explained that the airline has seen a significant change in the number of its passengers in recent weeks. According to him, the airline has seen seat occupancy of up to 99 per cent in March.

At the beginning of the year, the airline witnessed a slow start to the year with some routes averaging only 70 percent passengers. However, this has changed for the airline.

“We were like this until February, then it significantly increased. We reached up to 90 per cent, even 99 per cent,” he explained.

He also explained that it does not often happen to see this number of passengers at this time of the year.

The situation in the Middle East has seen many people taking alternative routes. This has seen many people flying to their destinations instead of their usual route.

Some of them are now flying through Nairobi using Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. This is increasing the number of passengers for Kenya Airways.

Kamal noted that most of this increase is coming from Europe, the United States, and Asia, and this is doing well for the airline.

The airline is therefore planning to increase more flights on some of its routes as a result of the increase in customers. It is also hoping that it will be able to retain 40 percent of the increase in customers even when things go back to normal.

Kenya Airways has been very helpful to the victims of this war. This airline has already flown 400 people out of the Middle East. It is hoping to make one more flight.

There are a number of Kenyans in this region, and this route is very important to them. This route is very important to them because of the war.
