Pastor Victor Kanyari has launched a fresh public attack against his daughter Sky Victor and her stepfather Hiram “Tash” Gitau, claiming he has been denied access to his children despite having court orders in his favour.

In an emotional online address on Sunday, the controversial preacher alleged that several attempts to reunite with his children had hit a dead end, including efforts made through Kiambu Police Station.

According to Kanyari, he obtained three court orders aimed at facilitating access to the children but claimed the directives have not been enforced.

The preacher also accused Tash of frustrating the process and alleged that he has since been blocked from communicating with him.

The latest outburst marks a dramatic turn in a family dispute that has repeatedly played out in public following the death of gospel singer Betty Bayo, the mother of Sky and her brother Danny.

Kanyari further questioned some aspects of Sky’s lifestyle, claiming the teenager was being exposed to activities and influences inappropriate for her age.

He alleged that the narrative surrounding a bank account reportedly opened for Sky was misleading and suggested that external forces were influencing decisions involving the teenager.

In another unexpected development, Kanyari hosted Winnie, a former househelp who previously worked at Tash’s home, during the online session, with the preacher appearing to use her account to support some of his claims.

The allegations have since sparked intense debate on social media, with supporters and critics weighing in on the increasingly public family feud.

Neither Sky nor Tash had publicly responded to Kanyari’s latest claims by the time of publication.

The latest remarks are likely to reignite public interest in the ongoing custody dispute, which has remained one of the most closely followed family dramas on Kenyan social media in recent months.
