Juja Member of Parliament George Koimburi has presented himself at the Milimani Law Courts following an order issued by Principal Magistrate Ben Mark Ekhubi.
Koimburi is set to face charges of conspiracy to commit a felony, with investigators alleging he orchestrated his own kidnapping.
The legislator arrived at the courthouse appearing visibly ill and limping, a condition his legal team had previously cited as the reason for his failure to appear in earlier proceedings.
The MP will now be required to enter a plea on the charges leveled against him.
