The National Police Service (NPS) Inspector-General Douglas Kanja has arrived at the National Police College, Embakasi ‘A’ Campus, ahead of the 59th Passing-Out Parade for newly recruited police officers.
The passing-out ceremony is set to be presided over by President William Ruto, who will officiate the event in his capacity as the Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces.
Kanja arrived at the college ahead of the ceremony, which marks the completion of training for the recruits before they are deployed to serve in different parts of the country.
The 59th Passing-Out Parade is part of the National Police Service’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its workforce and enhance policing services across the country.
President Ruto is expected to preside over the parade as the recruits formally transition from training to active service.
The event brings together senior government officials, police commanders, families and other stakeholders to witness the recruits’ passing-out ceremony at the National Police College.
