Mining and Blue Economy Cabinet Secretary Ali Hassan Joho has called out social media users who spend most of their productive time criticising President William Ruto’s administration.

Joho regretted that some of Ruto’s critics rely on the free W-FI provided by the Kenya Kwanza administration to hit the same government.

The CS said they will not be distracted by the naysayers insisting that they are fully committed to delivering to the citizenry as the government.

"There are some people in Nairobi who have smartphones and data. The data may even be the free Wi-Fi provided by Ruto. All they do is criticise the government. While they talk, we are on the ground working," Joho said.

Joho finally put the critics on notice, saying the government also has the capacity to counter back.

“A country cannot be built through the internet. It cannot be built by people whose work revolves around Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. Let me put them on notice. We can also talk. If they bring us trouble, we can also bring equal trouble,” he added.
