Tanzanian star Harmonize has spoken out against damaging rumours claiming that his father resorted to witchcraft following his exit from Diamond Platnumz’s WCB Wasafi label.

Addressing the controversy during a recent conversation, the Konde Gang CEO expressed deep disappointment over the allegations, describing them as both hurtful and baseless. According to Harmonize, his father is a devout, religious man who would never consider consulting traditional healers, let alone plotting harm against anyone.

“My father was among those most pained by my departure from WCB,” Harmonize shared. “He always saw Diamond as another son. We lived and worked like family, so the idea that he would use witchcraft to hurt Wasafi is simply not true.”

The singer further underlined his own stance against spiritual manipulation, pointing to the mosque he is currently building in his hometown—a project partially funded by Diamond himself.

“I named the mosque Masjid, and the first contribution to its construction came from Diamond Platnumz,” Harmonize revealed. “How could I, or anyone in my family, turn against someone who helped build a place of worship for our community? It doesn’t make any sense.”

While clearly wounded by the false narratives, Harmonize chose not to respond with anger. Instead, he suggested that the shock surrounding his split from Diamond might have driven people to fabricate stories.

“Our separation caught many by surprise,” he said. “When people don’t understand why something happens, they sometimes create their own explanations.”
