Samburu Governor Lati Lelelit has urged communities in the county to embrace unity and cohesion, following his endorsement for a second term by elders of the Masula clan, the largest within the Samburu community.

The endorsement ceremony was presided over by prominent leaders, including former Samburu Woman Representative Maison Leshoomo, former Governor Moses Lenolkulal, and former Samburu North MP Alois Lentoimaga, among others.

“Unity remains the foundation of progress. When our people come together, we create an environment where development can thrive, and future generations can prosper,” Lelelit said.

Governor Lelelit welcomed the gesture, saying it demonstrated confidence in his leadership and vision for the county.

He emphasized that lasting peace and development in Samburu could only be achieved through cooperation among the diverse communities in the region.
