The Government and the World Bank have reviewed progress in the implementation of the Kenya Digital Economy Acceleration Project (KDEAP), with a focus on ensuring investments under the programme translate into tangible benefits for communities.
Principal Secretary for Broadcasting and Telecommunications Stephen Isaboke and Principal Secretary for ICT and the Digital Economy Eng. John Tanui co-chaired a meeting with a World Bank delegation to assess the implementation of the project.
The meeting focused on taking stock of the progress made under KDEAP and identifying opportunities to strengthen its impact.
The ministry said the review was aimed at ensuring that investments under the programme deliver meaningful benefits to communities.
