The funeral procession carrying the body of celebrated gospel singer Beatrice Wairimu Mbugua, widely known as Betty Bayo, departed from the Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Thursday.
The procession made its way through Kiambu Road toward the Ndumberi grounds, where a major memorial service was held.
At the grounds, family members, fellow musicians, and hundreds of fans gathered to pay their final respects to the beloved artist.
