The media fraternity has been thrown into mourning following the death of renowned radio presenter Festus Amimo.
Until his death, Amimo was a morning show presenter at the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC)- owned Mayienga FM, where he also served as the station’s head.
He passed away on the morning of Sunday, December 7.
"It is with profound shock, deep sorrow, and heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of our Head of Station, Festus Amimo," Mayienga FM announced in a Facebook post.His remains are currently at Nairobi Funeral Home, private wing and his friends and family are making arrangements to transfer him.
