The Kenya Hospital Association has announced the appointment of Felix Osano as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nairobi Hospital, effective immediately.

In a statement released by Board Chairman Barcley Onyambu, the Association expressed confidence in Osano’s leadership, citing his strategic vision, extensive industry expertise, and unwavering commitment to operational excellence as key assets in guiding the hospital into a new phase of growth and innovation.

“Mr. Osano has served as Acting CEO since November 2024 and was previously the Director of Supply Chain. He brings over 17 years of professional experience spanning global private equity investments in healthcare across Africa and Asia, as well as leadership roles in FMCG and healthcare organisations,” Onyambu said.

Osano succeeds James Nyamongo, who served as CEO until December 2024.

The new CEO holds an impressive academic background. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Strategic Management at the United States International University-Africa (USIU-A). He also holds an MBA from the same institution, a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Daystar University, and an Executive Leadership certificate in Supply Chain Transformation from Strathmore University.

His appointment comes at a time when Nairobi Hospital is implementing key reforms aimed at enhancing patient care, operational efficiency, and positioning itself as a premier health facility in the region.
