A family from Kihunguro, Ruiru is asking for help from anyone who can help them find a 29-year-old William Muthee Mburu. He was last seen on the night of Saturday, August 16, 2025, and has been missing ever since.
The last time William was spotted was in Kihunguro, and he has been unreachable ever since, with no one being able to get hold of him, the family tells. His sudden vanishing has resulted in the family being heartbroken, turning their hunt for explanations into a search that has lasted for days.
“At the time he was missing, William was dressed in a black leather jacket, black trousers, and black boots,” the family informed the media, pointing out that they are still holding onto their hope as they intensify their search for him. Ruiru police have also taken part in the hunt and are asking the public for any details that might assist them in identifying where William is.
Ngundu are also participating in the search by helping the family scan the area. The family has given out two telephone numbers that are 0724 301 983 and 0722 151 603 and is urging any person who has information to come forward or report to the nearest police station.
“We only want our son back home safely. If anybody knows where he is or if he has been seen by somebody, then please assist us,” a family member requested.
While the search persisting, the family still clings to faith that their son will be found safe.
