Over the weekend, a notice went viral on social media claiming that Ezekiel Mutua had been suspended from the Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) where he is the CEO.

However, taking to social media on Monday, November 25, Mutua set the record straight, terming the allegations as malicious propaganda and falsehood.

"Let me set the record straight: I am in office and I have neither been sacked nor suspended. The bloggers who are spreading this would do better to come to the office and interview me from there," said Mutua.

However, the MCSK CEO admitted to leadership wrangles in MCSK but clarified that they only touch on the directors who hold elected non-executive positions.

Without mentioning names, Mutua said there are some people who want to get into office without following the right procedure.
