Former Harambee Stars player Collins Okoth, widely known as Gatusso, was arraigned before Justice Alexander Muteti at the Milimani High Court o Tuesday.
Okoth, along with his co-accused, Sylvia Aoko Odhiambo, faces charges related to the alleged murder of a three-year-old girl named Pamela Atieno, also known as Scovian Maya.
The tragic incident reportedly occurred in the Lucky Summer Estate in Nairobi.

The court heard that Okoth and Odhiambo allegedly broke into the rental house of the deceased’s parents during their absence and committed the heinous act.
The lifeless body of the child was later discovered dumped in a nearby residence.
The court directed that both suspects undergo a mental assessment before taking a plea.
They are scheduled to appear in court again on July 30, 2024. Meanwhile, Collins Okoth will be held at the Industrial Area Remand Prison, and Sylvia Aoko Odhiambo will be detained at Lang’ata Women’s Prison.
