The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) wants parents to lead in integrity efforts.

EACC held a capacity-building workshop with the National Parents Association (NPA) in Nairobi where the commission called on parents to be responsible citizens and not remain silent when corruption thrives.

EACC Deputy Director of Education and Public Awareness Dr Emily Mworia, highlighted the critical role parents play in shaping a child’s moral values.

She asked parents to lay robust foundation for their children as they are their first role models.

The director urged parents to demand accountability in the education system, transparency in school management particularly fairness in admissions and sensible use of resources.
